Investment, ethical (ethical investment)
The investment in securities of such companies and capital management companies which – in addition to their actual business purpose – primarily support charitable, charitable or social, non-profit projects or – in their articles of association commit themselves to certain behavior towards people (employees) and nature (environment). – Insofar as well-known capital management companies offer such papers, which generally promise a lower return, one may generally trust in a monitoring of the indicated goals by appropriate committees. However, ethical investments have been and are still being offered by various issuers, which escape scrutiny with regard to the specified purpose. (Regulatory) Legal protection for „ethical“ securities has not yet been granted in Germany. – See alternative bank, investment policy, bank, church, fund, ethical, investment, sustainable, sustainability, eco-fund, sustainability-fund.
