Shareholder, passive (US. stockholder, hands-off shareholder)
Shareholder who is generally unconcerned with the company’s business and usually intends to hold the share for the long term (an investor who invests in the company but does not actively contribute to management. Passive investors regularly purchase shares with the aim of long-term maintenance and do not attempt to profit from short-term price fluctuations).
