Journal of Business & Economic Policy (JBEP) is an open access, peer reviewed, and fully refereed international journal published by Center for Promoting Ideas (CPI), USA. The main objective of JBEP is to provide a platform for the international scholars, academicians and researchers to share the contemporary thoughts in the fields of business and economics. JBEP aims to promote interdisciplinary studies in business and economics and thus become the leading international journal in business and economics in the world.

The journal publishes research papers in the all the fields of business and economics such as management, marketing, finance, economics, banking, accounting, human resources management, international business, hotel and tourism, entrepreneurship development, business ethics, international trade policy, international trade law, development studies, population studies, culture and business, corporate governance, cross-cultural studies, social business, corporate social responsibility, industrial psychology, and so on. The journal is published in both print and online.

JBEP publishes original papers, review papers, conceptual framework, analytical and simulation models, case studies, empirical research, technical notes, and book reviews. Special Issues devoted to important topics in business and economics will occasionally be published. Business innovation and research strategies, tactics and tools of both theoretical and practical nature are welcome.

JBEP is indexed with and included in Cabell’s, EBSCO, Ulrich’s, DRJI, InfoBase Index, and Gale. Moreover the journal is under the indexing process with ISI, ERIC, DOAJ, Scopus, and Econlit.

Projekt „Namen Jung-Stilling im Siegerland“

Dem Andenken an Johann Heinrich Jung-Stilling (1740-1817) sind im Siegerland verschiedene Einrichtungen gewidmet und nach ihm benannt.

Hierzu zählen in der Stadt Siegen das Diakonie Klinikum, eine Apotheke und eine Schule sowie mehrere Strassen im Kreisgebiet.

Bisher fehlt eine zusammenhängende Darstellung darüber, wann und auf wessen Veranlassung die Namensgebung jeweils geschah.

Diese Wissenslücke sollte in einer entsprechend angelegten Untersuchung mit anschliessender Veröffentlichung geschlossen werden.

Im einzelnen gilt es dabei, in Archiven bezügliche Niederschriften ausfindig zu machen. Denn in jedem Fall war ja die Namensgebung mit einer entsprechenden Beschlussfassung verbunden. Es ist davon auszugehen, dass diese Entscheide schriftlich niedergelegt und archiviert wurden.

Die beschriebene Aufgabe übertragen wir — zur Ausführung vor Ort bei den jeweiligen Einrichtungen — dem im „Forschungsvorhaben Jung-Stilling“ unbezahlt arbeitenden studentischen Mitarbeiter Bankkaufmann Dominik Christian Hufschmidt, Siegen (dominik-hufschmidt@student.uni-siegen.de)
